A proper maintenance preserves in time the value of the windows, maintaining them in a pleasant and shiny look.
The windows must be cleaned with clean, warm water and an adequate soft cloth. Dirt caused by dust or rain can be removed simply by using a common household detergent. At least once a year, we recommend lubricating the moving parts of fittings with a drop of oil to allow your windows to open and close smoothly. Seals must be cleaned with clean water and it is recommended to have them lubricated regularly with a silicone pencil.
– Do not use aggressive or abrasive care or cleaning agents or those which contain solvents or other substances identical, such as synthetic resin based thinners, acetone etc.;
– Do not use cleaning powder;
– Do not use hard objects such as putty knives, wire brushes, scouring pads etc.
Adequate room ventilation prevents condensation and mold from appearing and the deterioration of the climate inside the house.
Because during one day, almost 10 liters of water as vapors are produced in the air inside the house, regular ventilation of the spaces replaces the moist air with fresh and dry air from the outside, ensuring a healthy ambient air.
